This morning is starting now off a little damper and grayer, but the kids are still excited. After breakfast, it's team building or outdoor survival skills, then we make our back downhill to home sweet home. Please meet us at the the front of the school at 1:00pm. If your kiddo has meds with us, please pick them up from Mr. Gallagher at 12:45. 

We finished the day with some fun night games and hiking. We are tuckered out and ready to continue the fun tomorrow.

After a delicious breakfast or bacon eggs and other protein rich foods. We headed off to outdoor living skills or group initiatives. Soon, we'll be eating lunch. Then be sure to check out the webcam at 12:30 to see us at the YMCA statue. 

We arrived at Sprague Lake around 11:30am, used the restrooms, and we were off. After learning about the lake and the types of trees in the moraine, we headed down hill to find our lunch spot. A lots of kiddos found some good spots on some boulders and chowed down. From there it was a fun, muddy, and sometimes rainy hike to our dorm at the YMCA.

This morning 5th graders board the busses and head uphill for some authentic Colorado fun and learning. Stay tuned for photos and updates!

You can feel the excitement in the air here at Bethke in the 5th grade wing! ECO Week starts Wednesday morning.

Student will arrive bright eyed and bushy tailed at 8:30am and meet in the lunch room. We will leave Bethke at 9:00 for the trip up the Big Thompson Canyon to the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park.

Over the three days, students will experience some of the best Colorado and the YMCA of the Rockies have to offer in hikes, outdoor living skills, ropes course adventures, and more!
